The Council will receive its funding from and report to the Bayer Foundation, an independent charitable body created under the Canada Corporations Act. The Council will function independently of the Bayer Foundation and Bayer Inc.

Neither the Bayer Foundation nor Bayer Inc. may modify or edit Council reports, except with the Council's permission.
